Holtz is without exception the best painting company that you will ever find on the U.S. East Coast. They practically restored the interior of my Queen Anne Victorian, which has very elaborate trim and plaster walls. In addition, they did everything that was required to properly paint new wood (such as interior doors that we had made to duplicate the originals that were in the house) so that you didn’t see the grain; they sanded between coats. They have made several visits to our house during the course of the restoration, and they will make at least one more–it is a job that has had to be done in stages. The painter they send to head up the job each time is excellent; he know everything about painting, including all the subtleties, and he is committed to doing things right.
